Dr. Lauer is a member of the University of Wisconsin Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed medical school at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center where he served as the Chief Resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lauer completed his Masters of Public Health degree at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. His research interests include quality improvement in HPV vaccination and outcomes research in gynecologic surgery. He is the director of HPV vaccination efforts for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His clinical interests include laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for benign gynecologic conditions as well as obstetrical care.
