Gynecology Oncology Faculty
History of Excellence
The Division of Gynecologic Oncology consists of 6 fellowship-trained physicians (5 board-certified, 1 board eligible) with diverse
training, clinical and research interests. Each member is dedicated to the success of the fellowship. The resident rotation in
gynecologic oncology consistently rates as one of the most valued and positive experiences of the residency program. Faculty members
have been bestowed numerous teaching awards and regularly mentor resident research, including grant funding and national presentations. The great majority of these resident research projects have led to peer-review publications. The Gyn Onc faculty perform both basic/translational and clinical research, centered in the areas of tumor immunology, proteomics, innovative and minimally invasive surgery, perioperative care and drug development. The clinical reputation of the Division throughout the region has provided a strong and consistent referral base. The subsequent high patient volume represents the diverse spectrum of clinical issues affecting women with gynecologic malignancies.
