Posters, presentations and more at PFDWeek 2017
Hayley Barnes, MD, PGY-4, presented the oral poster “Holding it Together: Group Behavioral Intervention Improves Urinary and Bowel Symptoms in Older Women” as part of a scientific concurrent session focused on office-based therapy and patient counseling. It’s no wonder Barnes will follow her residency with the female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Loyola University!
Heidi Brown, MD, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Gynecology, presented the poster “Transforming Community-Based Continence Promotion: The Bowel Movement” during a scientific concurrent session on novel technologies and neuromodulation.
UW Ob-Gyn Gynecology Division Director Dobie Giles, MD, moderated a panel on Hot Topics in Surgery and Quality of Life. Giles also served on the abstract review committee for the conference.
And of course, it wouldn’t be an AUGS conference without karaoke. The UW Ob-Gyn team held their own on the stage for the second year in a row, featuring a guest performance by residency alum and current University of Michigan FPMRS fellow Caroline Kieserman-Shmokler, MD!
Congratulations to everyone who attended, presented, moderated, and otherwise helped make PFDWeek 2017 a success!
