Overview

The University of Wisconsin Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center has the largest Gynecologic Oncology department in Wisconsin, offering patients state-of-the-art care in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancer. Our gynecologic oncologists see more than 450 patients annually with common as well as rare gynecologic cancers including:

  • Cervical
  • Ovarian
  • Uterine
  • Vulvar
  • Vaginal
  • Gestational trophoblastic disease
  • Leiomyosarcoma
  • Mixed mullerian tumors
  • Pseudomyxoma peritonei

Patients diagnosed with any of these gynecologic cancers are seen in our multidisciplinary clinic by our team of gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, genetic counselors and health psychologists. Each patient is evaluated and treatment is individually tailored to each patient's needs. In addition to treatment, the UW Carbone Cancer Center is committed to improving a woman's quality of life and minimizing side effects while she undergoes therapy.
