Resident shows poster at ASRM conference
Faculty and residents from the UW Department of Ob-Gyn shared posters, chaired sessions, appeared on panels and more at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Scientific Congressin Denver! Some of their incredible work:

Julianne Zweifel, PhD, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, co-chaired a course on advanced-age parenting. “How Old is Too Old? The Pursuit of Parenthood at an Advanced Age” generated a ton of interest during the conference. Zweifel spoke to several UK publications about the session – check out her interviews in the Telegraph, Times of London, the Sun, and the Daily Mail!

Aleks Stanic, MD, PhD, of the REI division and division of reproductive sciences, sat on the “Endometrial and Systemic Immune Diagnoses” panel, which discussed the role of immune system in pregnancy implantation failures.

Laura Cooney, MD, shared the poster “Resident Knowledge of PCOS: Identifying Gaps and Educational Opportunities.”

Lauren Verrilli, MD, PGY-4 resident, presented two posters: “Prevalence and Predictors of Oligomenorrhea and Amenorrhea in Division I Female Athletes,” and “Subclinical Chronic Endometritis and Test of Cure Rates in a Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Cohort.”

Ted Golos, PhD, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Reproductive Sciences, co-authored the poster “An Improved 3D In Vitro Embryo Implantation Model with Nonhuman Embryo Culture Beyond Day 7 and Effect of Culture Conditions.”
