Grand Rounds: Johnson presents “Philanthropy in Medicine: A Culture of Giving and Gratitude that Goes Both Ways”

On October 26, 2023, Lily Johnson, UW Department of Ob-Gyn Advancement Manager and Senior Director of Development Administration, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “Philanthropy in Medicine: A Culture of Giving and Gratitude that Goes Both Ways”.

In the lecture, Johnson discussed grateful patient philanthropy and how it relates to patients as well as caregivers. Johnson’s presentation aimed to destigmatize philanthropy work and how it relates to medical advancements.
