Ladanyi discusses endometriosis with Wisconsin Public Radio

Camille Ladanyi, MD, assistant professor in the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn, spoke with Wisconsin Public Radio for a recent story about endometriosis.

In “'I wasn't crazy': Wisconsin women hope painful disease gains more attention”, Ladanyi discussed common signs, treatment options, and how awareness efforts around the disease may advance research efforts:

“"It’s just a matter of trying to continue the efforts, helping people to understand how important this is and how much it’s impacting the quality of their life," she said. "There’s just so much bias, especially when it comes to pain. So, it’s easy for some of these people to just really be disregarded."”
