2018 UW Ob-Gyn residents

Between the Wisconsin Section ACOG meeting in Sheboygan and the District IV/VI Joint Meeting in Savannah, GA, our department has a lot to be happy about!

At the Wisconsin Section meeting:

  • UW Ob-Gyn PGY-3 resident MJ Kao, MD earned the Resident Research Competition Award
  • Ryan Spencer, MD, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Gynecologic Oncology, presented the Gyn Onc Subspeciality Newsflash
  • Deborah Ehrenthal, MD, MPH, director of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Reproductive and Population Health, presented “Public Health Updates and Initiatives in Wisconsin.

At the District IV/VI Joint Meeting:

Dobie Giles, MD, director of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Advanced Pelvic Surgery, was part of the meeting faculty. He also received the A. Cullen Richardson Memorial Lecturer award!

Madeleine Wentzel, DNP, former nurse at the UW Health Arboretum Clinic, presented the poster she completed with Arboretum Clinic practitioners: “A Patient-Centered Approach to SIDS Risk Reduction at a Resident Physician Ob-Gyn Clinic.”
