This Fellowship Match Day, we’re so happy to announce fellowship matches from our department, and excited to introduce the MFM and Gyn Onc fellows who will join us next summer!

Congratulations to the current members of our UW Ob-Gyn family who will pursue subspecialty training next year:

Han Cun, MD, PGY-4, will follow her residency with a gynecologic oncology fellowship at MD Anderson in Texas Lauren Verrilli, MD, PGY-4, heads off to the University of Utahafter her residency for a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

And let’s welcome two new fellows to the department!

Jennifer Jacobson, MD
has matched as our July 2019 incoming MFM fellow. She received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and is completing her ob-gyn residency at St. Louis University. She is looking forward to returning to Madison and becoming a fellow in our MFM fellowship program. Jacobson will join us July 1, 2019.

Shannon Rush, MD
has matched as our July 2019 incoming fellow in gynecologic oncology.  Rush graduated from the Amherst College with a B.A. Sociology, earned her medical degree from the University of Washington-Pullman, and is completing her ob-gym residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. She will come to the fellowship program with a strong research background and is looking forward to training in a busy and challenging clinical environment under the mentorship of our faculty. Rush will begin her Gynecologic Oncology fellowship on July 1, 2019.
