Our sincere congratulations to Health Disparities Research Scholars Chenoa Allen, PhD, and Madelyne Greene, PhD! They will both depart the UW Ob-Gyn HDRS program later this year for faculty appointments.

Allen will join the faculty in the Department of Health Sciencesin the School of Health Professions at the University of Missouri as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in July! While completing her HDRS postdoc, Allen was the recipient of 2017 AHEAD Pilot funds for her project, Effects of Medicaid Expansions on Prenatal Care and Birth Outcomes for Foreign-Born Women.

Greene will remain in Madison and join the faculty in the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing as a tenure-track Assistant Professor this fall. She plans to continue her work on reproductive health disparities and equity, including improving sexual minority women’s access to sexual and reproductive health services, and measuring patterns of maternal morbidities across the U.S.
