Katie Antony, MD, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, supported the Shapiro Summer Research student who worked with her on several sleep-related studies at the 2019 Medical Student Research Forum on November 25!

SMPH student Jeannette Larson presented four posters about research conducted with Antony at the event: “Is Screening Positive for Sleep Apnea Associated with a Higher Rate of Miscarriage?”; “Is Screening Positive for Sleep Apnea Associated with Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes or Excess Gestational Weight Gain?”; “Is Shift Work or Self-reported Short Sleep Duration During Pregnancy Associated with Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes?”; and “Is Sleep Deprivation Associated with Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes?”.

Congratulations to Dr. Antony and Jeannette Larson!
