The UW Ob-Gyn Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn successfully launched its Early Career Development Seminar series on August 8 with a seminar on the topic of Clinical and Educational Scholarship.

Led by Sarina Schrager, MD, of the UW Department of Family Medicine and Community Health and Elizabeth Sadowski, MD, of the UW Department of Radiology, the interactive workshop focused on how to use daily clinical, teaching or administrative work as scholarship.  The speakers shared some examples of methods to transform work that is completed in the normal day to day job description of busy clinician teachers into presentations and publications applying the philosophy of “Make everything count twice!”
