On April 18, the UW Department of Ob-Gyn wished three wonderful attendings a fond farewell.

Christina Broadwell, MD, former director of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, departs for a faculty position at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Cara King, DO, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Advanced Pelvic Surgery, leaves us for the Cleveland Clinic, where she will be their new Chief of Benign Gynecologic Surgery AND Associate Program Director of the MIGS Fellowship.

Jake Lauer, MD, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn, will continue to develop his already-considerable skills with a fellowship in minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery at Columbia University.

We cannot thank these three amazing physicians enough for their years of dedicated service to our department, and to the women of Wisconsin and beyond. Wishing you the best of luck in your future endeavors – you will be missed!
