Hendrick departs HDRS for University of Nevada!

Congratulations to Emily Hendrick, PhD, of the UW Ob-Gyn Health Disparities Research Scholars program! Upon completion of her postdoctoral training program in August, Hendrick is heading to the University of Nevada-Reno, where she will be an instructor for the Master of Public Health program. She will also do consulting research and evaluation work for public health-focused non-profit and governmental organizations in Northern Nevada and Northern California.

Hendrick published several papers during her tenure in the HDRS program in the area of maternal and child health, including the first-authored paper “Teen mothers’ educational attainment and their children’s risk for teenage childbearing” published in Developmental Psychology.
