Now available: Wisconsin contraceptive access assessments

Tags: reproductive and population health, research

As part of a Wisconsin Partnership Program grant, the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Reproductive and Population Health conducted surveys and assessments of contraceptive access in Wisconsin – reports from their review of long-acting reversible contraception availability around the state are now available!

Check out the research brief for their key findings about including LARC availability in Dane, Milwaukee and 10 rural counties, what kinds of providers are most skilled in LARC insertion, and how commonly postpartum LARC is available at birthing centers.

Location-specific summaries are also available for Dane County, Milwaukee County, and rural Wisconsin

More resources related to the LARC survey, as well as general contraceptive and reproductive justice information, are available on the Wisconsin Contraceptive Access Network site.
