UW Ob-Gyn Department Chair Laurel Rice, MD, along with residents Dandi Huang, MD, and Erica Carballo, MD, presented at the Mid-Atlantic Gynecologic Oncology Society (MAGOS) meeting in Charlotte, NC!

Rice presented the presidential lecture The Intersection Between Health Disparities and Clinical Trials” on October 25.

During the Ovarian Cancer Scientific Session on October 25, Huang presented “Analysis of hospitalization rate and proportion of the total treatment days spent in the hospital due to unplanned admissions in advanced stage ovarian cancer.”

On October 26, Carballo presented Surgical outcomes of adnexal masses classified by IOTA simple rules: identifying opportunities to reduce surgical morbidity” during the Perioperative Care Scientific Session.
