The 2020 UW Women’s Health and Health Equity Research Lecture & Symposium will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020. This year, the Symposium will be hosted online.

In its eighth year, the event will feature a keynote lecture from Dr. Erica Marsh. Dr. Marsh is the S. Jan Behrman Collegiate Professor of Reproductive Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School and Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the Department of OBGYN.

In addition, Dr. Christine Durrance, incoming Associate Professor of Robert M. La Follette School of Public Affairs, Leigh Senderowicz, ScD, MPH, Health Disparities Research Scholar, and Dr. Ryan Spencer, Residency Program Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology will give presentations. The annual Symposium highlights women’s health and health equity research.

Please consider submitting a poster on women’s health research. We are especially interested in research focused on gender and racial health disparities. Posters will be accepted into two categories: Category 1: basic and pre-clinical research; and Category 2: clinical, implementation, and public health research. A panel of UW faculty will judge the posters and a $100 prize will be awarded in each category.

Please submit your abstract HERE.  Poster submissions are due by Tuesday, September 1 at 11:59p.m.  If you have any questions, please contact Autumn Hayes.
