On Wednesday, August 7, UW Ob-Gyn researcher Nicholas Schmuhl, PhD, of the Division of Reproductive and Population Health, sat on a panel at the eLUCID8 conference. Schmuhl’s panel, “Understanding Science Denialism”, featured experts in science communication discussing best practices for communicating research that can polarize audiences.

eLUCID8 is a mini-conference focused on ways that computational and behavioral sciences interact to shape society. The conference brings together UW scientists and thinkers, partners in industry and government, and the interested public, to share new knowledge, discuss current challenges, initiate new collaborations, and grow the community.

Congratulations, Dr. Schmuhl!
