As program manager, Silva will be a critical part of supporting department educational initiatives, ensuring residency program compliance with UW and nationwide accrediting bodies, managing resident recruitment, and so much more.
Silva joined our department in 2015 as the rural residency program manager. She was a driving force behind launching and growing the UW Ob-Gyn Rural Residency program, the first in the nation. Silva brings proven program development skills as well as a deep understanding of the UW Ob-Gyn residency program to her new role.
Silva earned her Masters of Education and BS in psychology at Carroll University. She is excited to take on new responsibilities and work more closely with residents as residency program manager. Congratulations, Jody!
