The Great Post-Roe Migration: Effects of Dobbs on Training Decision-Making among Medical Students and Obstetrics and Gynecology Residents

On June 24, 2022 the U.S. Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe v Wade, allowing states to effectively ban abortion. State bans on abortion will affect patients as well as clinical training and the practice of obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn), including abortion care delivery, for years to come.  We are working to understand how the state specific restrictions will influence career-decision making across the medical training spectrum
