Methodology research in clinical trial designs, group sequential trials, survival analysis and longitudinal data analysis. Emmanuel Sampene is a Assistant Scientist in the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics with a portion of his time dedicated to assisting Department of Ob-Gyn investigators with biostatistical aspects of research projects. He received his PhD in Biostatistics at the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. Prior to joining the department, he served as a mathematic statistician for the U.S. Food and drug Administration (FDA), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Division of Hematology, Oncology and Medical Imaging Products. At FDA he was part of a team that offered expert statistical advice and approved oncology drugs.
