  • Why UW Ob-Gyn?
    • The exposure to all subspecialties, the engagement of the faculty in teaching, the opportunities for research. Madison is a great city.
  • Best part of UW Ob-Gyn residency?
    • Great exposure to both especialized Ob and Gyn patients as well as low risk OB and common Gyn pathology. Faculty is very involved in the education of the residents. Good surgical exposure. The level of independence at the Arboretum Clinic.
  • Applicants need to know…
    • As someone who transfer from one academic program to another I can see the benefits of having faculty that is very actively engaged in the education of residents. The Arboretum clinic is a great experience that is run by the residents with a very high degree of "supervised independence", the continuity of patient care is very effective and the program always supports it. Often times your patients have surgery when you are not in that particular service and most times, this can be arranged so you go to your cases. This is very rewarding as a junior resident.
