Biography

Dr. Al-Niaimi performed his medical school and a general surgery residency training at the University Hospital in Baghdad Iraq. After further surgical training in the field of liver transplantation at the University of Miami in Florida, he redirected his focus and completed obstetrics and gynecology residency at Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He joined the Gynecological Oncology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in July, 2008.

Dr. Al-Niaimi's main research interest is in surgical site infection prevention and treatment. He is also investigating ways of improving surgical techniques and maximizing surgical outcomes in critically ill patients.
