Women’s Healthcast: Explaining Endometriosis, featuring Dr. Camille Ladanyi and Emelle Holmes-Drammeh

Endometriosis is a common condition that can cause symptoms such as pelvic pain, irregular bleeding, and pain during sex. Despite how much these symptoms can affect daily life, it can take years for people with endometriosis to receive an official diagnosis.

Camille Ladanyi, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn, and Emelle Holmes-Drammeh, PA, a physician assistant in the same division, joined the Women’s Healthcast to discuss the signs and symptoms of endometriosis, why diagnosis can take so long, and how the condition can affect other aspects of health.

Listen to Explaining Endometriosis: Signs and Symptoms now.
