Grand Rounds: Stowe presents “Perinatal Mental Illness – an Early Adverse Life Event”
On November 5, 2020, Zachary Stowe, MD, of the UW SMPH Department of Psychiatry presented the lecture “Perinatal Mental Illness – an Early Adverse Life Event” at UW Ob-Gyn Grand Rounds.
In his lecture, Stowe described the impact of maternal anxiety, stress, depression and early adverse life events on health outcomes. He also explained the potential confounds of illness and treatment in pregnancy.
