Abbott article selected for Endocrine Society special issue
Congratulations to David Abbott, PhD, professor in the Division of Reproductive Sciences, whose publication is one of the articles chosen for the Endocrine Society Thematic Issue on Rare Women’s Health 2024 collection!
Abbott co-authored the paper “Interplay of Cortisol, Testosterone and Abdominal Fat Mass in Normal-Weight Women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome”, which compared cortisol and cortisone levels between normal-weight women with PCOS to a control group of women with a similar age and body mass index to figure out if adrenal steroids are associated with abdominal fat deposition.
Congratulations on the honor, Dr. Abbott!
