Anderson-Carter and Social Impact and Belonging Committee share resources at the Madison Public Library Period Party

On Saturday, September 20, the Madison Public Library collaborated with Public Health Madison & Dane County to host a Period Party. This year’s Period Party consisted of a series of three informational sessions followed by the Saturday celebration, aiming to provide information and understanding surrounding puberty and menstruation.

India Anderson-Carter, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn, along with the Department of Ob-Gyn Social Impact and Belonging Committee, participated in the event and staffed a table with resources on the menstrual cycle, sanitary products, HPV vaccinations, and more!
