Bajpai receives WMAA 2025 Outstanding Resident Teaching Award

Congratulations to UW Department of Ob-Gyn resident Rusha Bajpai, MD, PGY-3, who was selected to receive the Wisconsin Medical Alumni Association (WMAA) 2025 Outstanding Resident Teaching Award!

The WMAA Distinguished Faculty and Resident Clinical Science Teaching Awards are given to the most exceptional teachers from across the statewide campus. Bajpai was voted best resident teacher across all programs by fourth-year medical students in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.

In Bajpai's nomination materials, medical students said this:

"Dr. Bajpai is an amazing resident who always made me feel welcome and included in the obstetrics and gynecology team. She was a perfect example of how to balance her own roles and responsibilities as a resident with assisting on the team.  She challenged me to further my OB-GYN skills and knowledge by pushing me out of my comfort zone to prepare for my next role as an OB-GYN intern."

This award is a well-deserved recognition of Bajpai’s commitment to excellence in medical education!
