Bannon promoted to Clinical Associate Professor

Please join us in congratulating Kimberly Bannon, MD, of the Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn! The UW School of Medicine and Public Health Clinician Teacher Track Faculty Appointments and Promotions Committee endorsed the Department of Ob-Gyn’s recommendation that Bannon be promoted to the rank of Clinical Associate Professor, effective June 29, 2025.
After graduating from the ob-gyn residency program at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago in 2015, Bannon was their attending physician director of off-service residents. She came to the UW Department of Ob-Gyn in 2023 after being an attending physician at Edward-Elmhurst Health. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as the North American Menopause Society. While working with Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Bannon was awarded the Dr. John J. Barton Leadership award and the Excellence as Chief Resident in 2015.
