Cooney presents Healthy Women Community Talk on third-party reproduction

Members of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and colleagues at UW Health Fertility Care presented a Healthy Women Community Talk on April 22, 2026. Laura Cooney, MD, MS, associate professor in the Division of REI; Kristen Wilkinson, PsyD, clinical psychologist in reproductive and women’s health psychology; Lindsey Brehm, third party nurse navigator; and Amy LaPlant, financial counselor, presented the talk “Paths to Parenthood: Donor eggs, donor sperm, donor embryos and gestational carriers”, delving deeper into third party reproduction, what the process looks like, and how their team provides support.

Healthy Women Community Talks provide an opportunity for the public to hear from clinicians, scientists, and other ob-gyn health experts about the latest research, trends, and treatment options. Questions and discussion are highly encouraged.
