CORE shares brief about Title X program cuts’ impacts on contraceptive care in Wisconsin

The UW Collaborative for Reproductive Equity (CORE) recently published a new brief talking about recent cuts to Title X’s family planning program.

In “New cuts to the nation’s family planning program will worsen access to contraceptive care in Wisconsin,” CORE discussed the implications such decreases in funding have for Wisconsin families, as Title X provides important contraception services to families and limits the financial strain on clinics providing sexual and reproductive health care services.

“These shifts in policy treat reproductive health services more as a political issue than essential healthcare. The latest actions will cause even more harm to Wisconsinites and people nationwide who need access to family planning care.”
