Cutler presents on panel at UW interfaith bioethics conference
In February 2026, the Center for Interfaith Dialogue and the Islamic STEM Association at the University of Wisconsin-Madison hosted Faith, Justice and Pluralistic Futures, the UW’s first interfaith bioethics conference. The event brought more than 200 people together to discuss bioethical questions at the complex intersections of faith, ethics, and medicine.
During the conference, Abigail Cutler, MD, MPH, assistant professor in the Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn, participated in the panel "Clinicians at the Crossroads: Religion, Equity, and the Future of Medicine." During the panel, Cutler talked about the world view and values systems that shape her approach to healthcare, and how she cares for patients who bring up spiritual beliefs during their care.
