Domeyer-Klenske talks about COVID vaccine recommendations with Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Amy Domeyer-Klenske, MD, associate professor and director of the Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn, spoke with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for a recent story on COVID-19 vaccine recommendations.

In “State health officials urge kids, pregnant women to get COVID-19 vaccine despite federal pullback”, Domeyer talked about COVID-19 vaccination recommendations for pregnant individuals amidst the new change in federal guidance regarding the vaccine:

“‘We know the COVID vaccine is safe in pregnancy — that research and data has not changed. We know pregnant individuals are at higher risk due to COVID,’ Domeyer said. ‘I convey to my patients, 'My goal is for you to have the safest, healthiest pregnancy possible. For that reason, I, as your doctor, recommend the COVID vaccine.’"
