Grand Rounds: Adegboro presents “The Age of Viability: A New Era”
Claudette Adegboro, MD, of the UW SMPH Department of Pediatrics, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “The Age of Viability: A New Era” on July 29, 2021.
In the lecture, Adegboro explained current obstetric and neonatal practice around periviable birth at 22-25 weeks’ gestation, assessed survival rates and outcomes for extremely preterm infants, and identified next steps for resuscitating periviable infants in our health care institution.
