Grand Rounds: Al-Niaimi presents “Quality Metrics And Outcomes: Past, Present And Future”

Ahmed Al-Niaimi, MD, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Gynecologic Oncology, presented the UW Ob-Gyn Grand Rounds lecture “Quality Metrics And Outcomes: Past, Present And Future” on September 16, 2021.

In the lecture, Al-Niaimi explained current measures of post-operative outcomes in terms of morbidity and mortality; assessed how past and ongoing QI programs can improve outcomes; discussed how patient-reported outcomes can affect metrics; and predicted what future quality metrics might be.
