On January 9, 2025, Michael Beninati, MD, assistant professor in the UW Department of Ob-Gyn Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “Fetal Surgery; Past, Present & Future.”
In the lecture, Beninati focused on the development in fetal surgery, starting with early fetoscopies and different reasons fetal surgery may be needed, and later discussed some future endeavors for the practice that continue to involve UW services, residents, and patients.
