Grand Rounds: Byars-Winston presents “Science of Mentorship: From Good Intentions to Good Practice”

Angela Byars-Winston, PhD, of the UW SMPH Department of Medicine, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “Science of Mentorship: From Good Intentions to Good Practice” to the UW Department of Ob-Gyn on February 11, 2021.

In her lecture, Byars-Winston discussed how cultural diversity can affect mentoring relationships, described evidence-based mentorship education to improve culturally responsive mentoring relationships, and examined resources for advancing local mentorship initiatives.
