On February 12, 2026, William Catherino, MD, PhD, professor and vice-chair of research at the Uniformed Services University Department of Gynecologic Surgery and Obstetrics, and Laurel W. Rice visiting professor, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “Uterine Fibroids: Novel Therapies, Future Advances”.
In the lecture, Catherino described current surgical interventions for uterine fibroids; discussed current minimally invasive options; and examined novel potential treatment options for uterine fibroids.
