Grand Rounds: Christopher presents “Solutions to Maternal Morbidity and Mortality: Is Quality Improvement the Answer?”

On June 30, 2022, University of Colorado Assistant Professor Diane Christopher, MD, presented the lecture “Solutions to Maternal Morbidity and Mortality: Is Quality Improvement the Answer?” at UW Ob-Gyn Grand Rounds.

In the lecture, Christopher named leading causes of maternal morbidity and mortality, illustrated ethnic and racial disparities in maternal health outcomes, examined the issue through a quality improvement lens, and evaluated how quality improvement efforts can widen, narrow, or maintain health disparities.
