Grand Rounds: Collier presents “Vaccines in Pregnancy”
On January 11, 2024, Ai-Ris Collier, MD, assistant professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “Vaccines in Pregnancy.”
In the lecture, Collier went through the various vaccines that are suitable for women to get during pregnancy and in postpartum. She explained the effects of maternal immunization on fetuses and infants, while also touching on vaccine safety surveillance. Lastly, Collier discussed plans for future research into this topic.
