Grand Rounds: Fox presents “Modern Management of the Placenta Accreta Spectrum and Complex Cesarean”
On March 7, Karin Fox, MD, MEd, assistant professor of maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch Department of Ob-Gyn, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “Modern Management of the Placenta Accreta Spectrum and Complex Cesarean.” Fox gave the Dr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Leonard Visiting Professor Series lecture at Resident Research Day.
In the lecture, Fox focused on approaches and management of the placenta accreta spectrum, especially the different treatment options available and recommended for varying clinical situations patients might find themselves in.
