Grand Rounds: Harrison presents “Cannabis and Reproductive Health”

On January 25, Department of Ob-Gyn resident Margaret Harrison, MD, PGY4, presented the Grand Rounds lecture, “Cannabis and reproductive health: Impacts on preconception, gestational, and fetal outcomes.”

In the lecture, Harrison explored broadly the availability and usage of cannabis and the accuracy of health information related to it. Later, she spoke more specifically on the implications of cannabis for pregnant people before and during pregnancy, as well as postpartum to help give patients more accurate information about its connection to pregnancy.
