Grand Rounds: Jones and Robbins present “Improving Birth Outcomes for Black Families by Connecting Care and Community to Advance Health Equity”
On January 5, 2023, Adrian Jones, MPH and Ariel Robbins, MPH, both of UW Health, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “Improving Birth Outcomes for Black Families by Connecting Care and Community to Advance Health Equity”.
In the presentation, Jones and Robbins outlined Community Health Improvement and its role in health program development; explained gaps in resources for patients in Dane County; shared career pathways for doulas, community health workers, and health promoters; summarized current efforts in eliminating Black-white disparities in birth outcomes from the Dane County Health Council; and more.
