Grand Rounds: Licon presents Peripartum Cardiomyopathy

On September 17, 2026, Allexa Licon, MD, clinical assistant professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within the Department of Medicine, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “Peripartum Cardiomyopathy.”

In the lecture, Licon discussed peripartum cardiomyopathy, including its symptoms, risk factors, health disparities, possible causes, treatment options, and the importance of early diagnosis, proper management, and preconception counseling.
