Grand Rounds: Matson presents GATA2 Regulates Invasion and Predicts Cancer Recurrence and Survival in Uterine Serous Carcinoma

On January 23, 2025, Daniel Matson, MD, PhD, assistant professor in the UW SMPH Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “GATA2 Regulates Invasion and Predicts Cancer Recurrence and Survival in Uterine Serous Carcinoma.”
In the lecture, Matson outlined current Uterine Serous Carcinoma (USC) treatment and outcomes options, and the potential for a custom anti-GATA2 monoclonal to be used in existing surgical pathology practices, as well as national trials analyzing the connection between GATA2 and USC. Matson also touched upon future directions for understanding GATA2 and USC treatment or management.
