Grand Rounds: Quanbeck presents “Using Digital Health to Support Reduced Alcohol Use”
On March 14, 2024, Andrew Quanbeck, PhD, associate professor in the University of Wisconsin's Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, presented the Ob-Gyn Grand Rounds lecture “Using Digital Health to Support Reduced Alcohol Use”.
In the lecture, Quanbeck summarized the burden of alcohol use in Wisconsin; described the promise of digital health apps for reducing alcohol use; examined patient preferences for clinical support in their use of health apps; and explained how the whole health model informs the foundation for alcohol use reduction.
