Grand Rounds: Rassier delivers Resident Research Day keynote
On February 23, 2023, Sarah Rassier, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology Director of Fibroid Clinic at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, presented the keynote lecture “From Hysteria to Heart Disease: A Biography of the Uterus” at UW Ob-Gyn Resident Research Day.
In the lecture, Rassier discussed the history and evolution of hysterectomy as a procedure, evaluated the trends in hysterectomy over time, and analyzed data surrounding long-term comorbidity associated with hysterectomy.
