Grand Rounds: Schaumberg presents “Women's Health and Eating Disorders: Vulnerabilities and Associated Risks Across the Lifespan”

On December 5, 2024, Katherine Schaumberg, PhD, an assistant professor in the UW Department of Psychiatry, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “Women’s Health and Eating Disorders: Vulnerabilities and Associated Risks Across the Lifespan.”
In the lecture, Schaumberg explored some of the predictors or risk factors in childhood and adolescence that could signal the potential to develop an eating disorder, as well as the obstetric and gynecologic risks that relate to eating disorders, and analyzed how menopause connects to eating disorders.
