Grand Rounds: Villavicencio presents “Challenging Racism and Questioning Power in Leadership”
On December 7, 2023, Jenni Villavicencio, MD, MPP, director of Public Affairs and Advocacy af the Society of Family Planning, presented the Grand Rounds lecture “Challenging Racism and Questioning Power in Leadership.”
In the lecture, Villavicencio discussed the historical and current conditions in regards to anti-racist and reproductive frameworks, the role power and power dynamics play in applying anti-racist practices, as well as identified areas where an anti-racist framework could be beneficial for workers and patients.
