Green, Anderson-Carter receive Wisconsin Partnership Program grant

Congratulations to Tiffany Green, PhD, associate professor in the Division of Reproductive and Population Health, and India Anderson-Carter, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn! Green and Anderson-Carter received a grant from the Wisconsin Partnership Program’s Collaborative Health Sciences Program for the project “Examining inequities in postpartum pain treatment among Wisconsin birthing people.” Green is the PI on the project, and Anderson-Carter will serve as co-PI.

This project will examine whether and how clinician bias contributes to Black-White inequities in postpartum pain evaluation and management in Wisconsin using novel data-collection approaches. The study aims to develop interventions that reduce the prevalence of unmanaged postpartum pain among Black patients.

Congratulations to all!
